RBP at Midtown Pass

Make plans to hang with virtuoso violinist Rachel Barton Pine on Friday, March 16 from at MIDTOWN PASS (formerly Cafe Cabernet).  

Rachel’s coming to Tallahassee as a guest of the TSO, though her musical tastes and abilities go far beyond classical music.  Equally at ease with Beethoven and Black Sabbath, Zorn and Zeppelin, Rachel will offer a show that defies description and threads rock and classical together with an electric performance.   Rachel is one of the country’s leading talents; her performances have been described as  “jaw dropping, “ “powerful,” “extraordinary,” “spectacular,” “phenomenal” and “commanding” by leading music critics. 

Rachel will be joined by two musicians from the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra to present medleys of music by AC/DC and Led Zeppelin.   The event will be from 8:00-10:00, but you’ll want to arrive early to get a good seat and order a round or two!
