Friday, October 29th 6-9pm Cascades Park
Join your TSO at Cascades Park for our annual Halloween Symphony Spooktacular! Friday, October 29th at the Capital City Amphitheater. The park opens for trick-or-treating at 6pm and the concert starts at 7pm
The Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra’s FREE Halloween Symphony Spooktacular is a fun orchestral concert. Head to Cascades dressed up in your Halloween costumes and enjoy food and bar trucks, and trick-or-treating at numerous booths throughout the park. The TSO musicians and conductor get dressed up too!
You can grab a seat in the amphitheater or bring blankets and sit on the green while you listen to the TSO play Halloween-themed music such as “Thriller,” “Ghostbusters,” “The Theme from Phantom of the Opera,” and Mussorgsky’s Night on Bald Mountain (made famous in Disney’s Fantasia).
The Symphony Spooktacular at Cascades is one of the many events that makes Tallahassee a great place to live. It provides free access to arts and culture and is a safe, fun event for people of all ages to celebrate Halloween and show off their costumes. We do our best to ensure families and friends have a memorable experience, and with over 4,500 people in attendance, it is the biggest event at Cascades Park to date.
We hope to present this concert for many years to come. To help make this possible, please consider donating to our facebook fundraiser!
