Performed by audience favorite, William Hagen, Bruch’s first violin concerto is considered one of the best works of the Romantic period. Finally you will hear Brahms’ masterpiece of tragedy and exuberance, the finale of which pays tribute to Bach, bookending this blockbuster program.
