The Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to enrich lives through music, but we can’t do it without your support. The Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra relies on generous donors, sponsorships, and grants to pay for our programming and operational expenses. In music, most pieces are written in a “key” — and in classical music, that choice often carries a special meaning. For Beethoven, the key of E-flat major represented heroism and grandeur. Mozart often turned to A-Major to express a sunny, joyful spirit.

- Present exceptional orchestral performances of the highest caliber, celebrating our outstanding musicians while bringing world-class guest artists to our region.
- Provide a free afterschool strings program in four Leon County Title I schools, serving more than 50 children.
- Offer multiple Young People’s Concerts each year that reach over 3,000 school children.
- Offer free community engagement events such as open dress rehearsals and our annual Halloween Spooktacular at Cascades Park.
