
Bio
Aimée has enjoyed an international career as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player on both modern and baroque violin. Originally from the northeast, Aimée joined the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra in 2020. Previous engagements include the North Caroline Baroque Orchestra, Oregon Bach Festival Orchestra, Pacific Baroque Orchestra, and the Schöneck Ensemble among others. In addition to performing, Aimée has been an active educator for thirty years. As a registered Yoga instructor, she created Body Scales© to enhance performance and address injury prevention and anxiety for musician’s wellness. Aimée received her undergraduate degree in Violin Performance from the Eastman School of Music.

Are there other musicians in your family?
My husband is a singer and professor at FSU, my daughter plays the guitar, and my son plays euphonium!
What do you do in your free time?
I love to go outside for walks, hikes, or runs, eat, go to the gym in addition, spend time with my family and cats, read, and attend FSU sports!
What would you be if not a musician?
I would love to be a physical therapist if I weren’t a musician because I love studying the body and helping people.
