Auditions
The Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra will hold auditions for the positions listed below on August 22 and 23.
Auditions will take place in the Housewright Music Building at the Florida State University College of Music, 122 North Copeland Street, Tallahassee, FL 32304.
All who audition will also be considered for the sub list.
August 22 – Percussion (HMU 113) and Violin (Dohnányi Recital Hall)
August 23 – Harp, Bass Trombone, Viola, Cello, Bass (Dohnányi Recital Hall)

The deadline to submit an application is August 7, 2025 at 11:59pm. After August 7, you will receive an email with your audition time slot and other details.
No electronic devices are allowed in the audition room. This includes, but is not limited to: tuners, metronomes, cell phones, and recording devices.
The audition committee reserves the right to dismiss any candidate not meeting the highest professional standards.
Musicians hired by the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra are responsible for having and maintaining proper authorization to work in the United States. Employment starts in September 2025.

Internships
Your TSO works with local colleges and universities to provide practical experience in the arts through paid internships. Interns assist with operations, customer service, marketing and event planning.
