Fun Facts
I have four pets – 2 dogs and 2 cats! The cats enjoy flute practice, but the dogs are not big fans of high notes or very loud sounds. The cats will sometimes sing along, the bigger dog Chipper will sometimes nap in the same room while I practice, but our small dog Avery always lets me know how much she dislikes the flute while I practice!
My favorite composers are Valerie Coleman, Jennifer Higdon, and Nicole Chamberlain.
Besides playing the flute, I played field hockey (I was a goalie), did competitive cheerleading, and I took ceramics classes through high school. Before high school, I also played soccer, basketball, softball, and I danced.
